Working Student – Robotics & AI
Who We Are
At Athenyx Robotics, we are building the intelligence stack for industrial humanoid robotics.
Our goal is to enable robots to move beyond rigid automation towards adaptive, learning-based systems that can operate across real-world industrial environments. We combine advances in robot learning, perception, and simulation with direct access to industrial use cases, data, and systems.
We are not building isolated demos — we are developing a platform for AI-native robotics, where perception, reasoning, and action are tightly integrated.
Overview
We are seeking a Working Student – Robotics & AI to support the development of intelligent robotic systems in real-world industrial applications.
You will work across different parts of the stack, gaining hands-on experience in robotics, AI, and system integration.
Your Responsibilities
Development & Experimentation
- Support development of robotics and AI pipelines across perception, learning, and simulation
- Assist in experiments on real robotic systems
- Contribute to integration and testing of system components
Systems & Learning Support
- Work with data, models, and simulation environments
- Support deployment and evaluation of robotic systems
- Collaborate with engineers across different parts of the stack
What You Bring
- Ongoing studies (Bachelor or Master) in robotics, computer science, or a related field
- Experience with Python and strong interest in robotics, AI, or simulation
- Hands-on mindset and motivation to work on real systems
- Interest in learning across different domains rather than focusing on a single narrow topic
- Ability to work independently and contribute in a fast-moving environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with ROS, computer vision, or machine learning
- Familiarity with simulation tools
- Personal or academic robotics projects
What We Offer
- Work on real robotic systems in industrial environments
- Close collaboration with an experienced robotics and AI team
- Flexible working hours and an open, collaborative culture
- Strong learning curve and opportunity to grow into a full-time role
